How It All Began

“Kaleidosight is born out of my struggles as a colour blind person. These glasses don’t just filter colours or increase contrast, they help you see and identify colours that you never could before.I have a strong red deficiency and can’t choose ripe bananas, pair socks or tell if my steak is raw or overcooked.

Kaleidosight began because I didn’t settle for less colour. Instead, I made my own way to see more, using knowledge from my PhD in technicolour microscopy of breast cancer (ironic, right!).I trialled endless lens treatments (on my kitchen stove) and created a totally new way of enhancing colour contrast and identification.This new dimension of colour is called Kaleidosight.”
